Tankless Water Heaters

Tankless water heaters provide hot water on demand, reducing standby energy. These water heaters lower your energy bill, regardless of the heating fuel used.

In addition, these heaters generally have a life cycle twice as long as standard heaters. And because many of them qualify for energy rebates, you can save even more. We proudly sell and install Navien tankless water heaters. Our plumbers serve the greater Greeley and Windsor area.

For optimal energy efficiency and safety, these heaters must be installed by a professional.  We are happy to discuss the option of a tankless water heater with you at any time, and help you to decide if it's the best choice for your residence. Although generally installed in homes, they can also be used in garages, pool houses and for hot tubs and commercial applications.

They Offer Big Benefits

Lower energy bill are only the beginning. Because the water is heated on demand, you always have unlimited hot water when you want it. In addition, the water temperature is always accurate. Tankless heaters also have a longer lifespan, often more than 20 years. Smaller than a traditional hot water heater, they take less space and can be mounted to either an interior or exterior wall.

How It Works

A sensor in the unit measures the temperature of  incoming water and rapidly heats a coiled pipe called a heat exchanger. The cool water passes through the heat exchange and is rapidly heated, providing unlimited hot water. Plus, the water heater recognizes when a faucet is turned on or if an appliance needs hot water. It responds at once. This is especially helpful for large families that use a lot of hot water, or for businesses with a constant demand for hot water.

Routine annual maintenance is required to keep the unit free of sediment build-up and provide optimal performance.

Types of Tankless Water Heaters

Whole House
These units replace traditional tank water heaters. Determine the sized needed by calculating how many gallons of hot water per minute you use, as well as how many degrees the water temperature will need to rise.

Point of Use
A point of use heater is small, and is installed for a single sink or appliance. It can be the perfect solution for providing hot water to your large soaker tub or to an additional sink.
